Same-day response on business days. Existing clients get an emergency number for evenings and weekends.

What Long Island businesses usually call about

  • An aging on-premise server nobody wants to touch, running software the business cannot operate without.
  • Two locations that do not share files properly, so staff email documents back and forth and versions drift apart.
  • Power cuts that take systems down hard, with no battery backup and no tested way to work from anywhere else.
  • An IT arrangement that was a neighbour's nephew for eight years, and now nobody has the passwords.
  • Cyber insurance renewal asking questions the business cannot answer honestly — multi-factor authentication, backup testing, staff training.

What a managed plan covers

  • Round-the-clock monitoring of servers, workstations, firewalls and backups.
  • Patching and endpoint protection kept current on every machine.
  • Encrypted off-site backup with restores tested on a schedule you can see.
  • Unlimited remote help desk during business hours, plus an emergency number.
  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration and security hardening.
  • Vendor wrangling — I deal with your ISP, your software vendor and your copier company so you do not have to.
  • A written, current record of your network, licences and accounts that belongs to you.

Long Island questions

Which parts of Long Island do you cover on-site?

Nassau and Suffolk counties, including Garden City, Mineola, Hempstead, Hicksville, Huntington, Melville, Islip, Hauppauge and Riverhead. Remote support covers everywhere, and most issues never need a visit.

We have two locations. Can you connect them?

Yes. Two offices, or an office and a warehouse, can be linked with a site-to-site VPN so staff reach the same files and systems from either place, with one set of security rules rather than two.

Is a physical server still worth keeping?

Sometimes. If you run software that needs to sit on-premise — some practice management, dental imaging and industry-specific systems do — keeping a properly backed-up local server is reasonable. What is not reasonable is paying to maintain a server that exists only to hold files a cloud drive would handle better and cheaper. The assessment gives you a straight answer either way.

What about storm and power outages?

Long Island businesses lose power more often than city ones. Battery backup sized to shut equipment down safely, cloud backups held off-site, and a documented plan for working from elsewhere for a day turn an outage into an inconvenience instead of a week of recovery.
